The Realme Q5 Pro launched with an 80W charger.
Realme has by no means finished its cards, and this can be seen from the start of the new Q series models. In fact, after the GT 2/2 Pro and GT Neo 3, there are other terminals on the market, this time dedicated to the mid-range: the Realme Q5 and Q5 Pro, and in this in-depth review, we are going to find out everything there is to know about technical specifications, price, and availability.
Realme Q5 Pro Design and Color
The new Realme Q5 Pro comes with an extremely simple design, with a thinner camera bumper in which three sensors stand out. The design is similar to that of the Realme GT Neo 2. The Realme Q5 has a 6.6-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1080p. There is a punch hole in the top left corner for the 16MP f/2. 1 selfie camera.
There are three more cameras on the back. The alignment (as well as the rest of the body) is identical to the Realme 9 Pro, but the sensors behind the lenses are different. We have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera.
Realme Q5 Pro Attractive Color
The checkerboard texture, which is typical of Vans (which, however, has not partnered with Realme), is present on this device in both yellow and white, and is visible while exposed to light, whereas when not exposed to light, it reverts to a solid hue. Then there’s a black color that’s a little more straightforward. On the other hand, the design of the Realme Q5, which uses translucent colors, but nothing special compared to the top model, is going to be very reminiscent of the Realme 9 Pro series.
Realme Q5 Pro: AMOLED Display
Moving on to the display, the Realme Q5 Pro uses a 6.62-inch Full HD + AMOLED E4 panel, with a 120 Hz refresh rate, touch 720 Hz sampling, and a punch hole for the front camera. As for the basic version of the Realme Q5, we have an LCD display with a resolution of 6.6 “Full HD + and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Realme Q5 Hardware, Software
The basic version of the Realme Q5 has a chipset on its side, the Snapdragon 695 (octa-core with a maximum frequency of 2.2 GHz), accompanied by 6 / 8 GB of RAM and 128 / 256 GB of internal storage, with the possibility of virtual extension. For the Q5 Pro model, a solution is the integrated Snapdragon 870 from Qualcomm, the most powerful seen in the series, which always accompanies 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage space.
Together with the battery, the Q5 base relies on a 5,000 mAh module, with a powerful (for the segment) 60W recharge. As for the Realme Q5 Pro, we still have a unit of 5.000 mAh, but this time it is powered by Superdart fast charging da 80W, and here too there is a small drive for the series. On the software front, they both run Android 12 with the Realme UI 3.0 skin on top.
Realme Q5 Pro Camera
Finally, we have a fairly decent camera compartment, with a 64 MP, an 8 MP for wide-angle, and a 2 MP for macros. For the selfie camera, we have a 16 MP. To conclude, the standard version of the Q5 offers a triple camera of 50 + 2 + 2 MP, with a monochrome sensor and one for macros. From the front, we still have a 16 MP selfie camera, as with its older brother.
The Features of The Realme Q5 Pro
The significant Cambio that Realme has implemented in the Q5 Pro is a fast 80 W charger for the 5,000 mAh battery. It’s one of the fastest in the company’s portfolio, second only to the revolutionary GT Neo3.
The Price of Realme Q5 Pro
The Realme Q5 Pro is not yet available in Bangladesh, but it is available in the Chinese market. There is a color-black option with a 6/128 GB memory that costs CNY 1,899 ($300). There are yellow and white variants with a checkered flag for 2,099 CNY ($325) or 2,299 CNY ($360). The cars are not available with 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB options.
Realme offers a box of sales with details of a limited edition branded with the characters of the Time Agent anime. It includes an Amarillo 8/128 GB phone, a protective cover, a Realmeow keychain, stickers, and collectible cards. The exact package price is 2,299 CNY ($ 360).
Realme Q5i, the little brother of the house, debuted first
A few hours before the two Realme Q5s debuted, what we can define as the little one of the trio, that is, the Q5i debuted. It is a pure mid-range device, with a 90Hz LCD screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 810, a battery of 5.000 mAh with 33W recharge, a dual-chamber of 13 + 2 MP, and a selfie camera of 8 MP. Its pricing is relatively reasonable, as the base model from 4 to 128 GB costs around € 174 (1.199 yuan). We’ve included a link to the dedicated article if you want to learn more.
