Realme India has announced another GT series smartphone, the Realme GT Neo 3, which is the third version of the company’s GT Neo series and succeeds the Realme GT NEO 2 from last year. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8100 5G processor and features an enormous 150W UltraDart rapid charger, making it the country’s quickest charging smartphone. The Realme GT Neo 3 is the successor of the Realme GT NEO 2, the one we saw last year, and we can see the difference in the display quality, the processor, which is now from MediaTek, a new OIS camera, and 80W fast charging (compared to 65W charging). The design, however, has changed slightly. The back sports a racing stripe pattern, and the rear and front cameras have been updated.

The 6.7-inch AMOLED display on the Realme GT Neo 3 has a 10-bit depth (1 GB of color), Full HD+ resolution (2412 x 1080 pixels), and a 120Hz refresh rate. Just like its high-end sibling, the Realme GT2 Pro, you will find Realme UI 3.0 on the Realme GT Neo 3, and it is based on the Android 12 operating system. Realme UI 3.0 was introduced last year, and it has been installed on a lot of Realme smartphones. The new Realme 3.0 UI is packed with features.

Of the apps that come with this phone, you will find some bloatware that can be removed. A handful of third-party apps can be seen, such as Facebook, Josh, Dailyhunt, Booking.com, Moj, Snapchat, LinkedIn, PhonePe, Amazon, and a few others, including apps from Realme.
On the hardware side, the Realme GT Neo 3 offers a new CPU from MediaTek, the Dimensity 8100 5G which is a flagship SoC as we can see, the CPU-Z shows you the summary of the processor. The second-generation NEO 2 phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC instead, which is a slight upgrade from its flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G is clocked at 2.85 GHz with the Mali-T610 MC6 GPU (6 cores) for smooth gaming. The processor, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G, is a fast SoC fabricated in a 5nm process consisting of four 4+4 core configurations; four high-performance ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.85GHz; four ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.85GHz, and four ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz.
In a single-core CPU benchmark, one of our Geekbench 5 benchmarks earned 963 points, and in a multi-core CPU benchmark, it achieved 3,963 points. The GPU scored 5,524 points, which means it has enough power to handle high-end GPU tasks.
For gaming, it incorporates the Mali-T610 MC6 GPU, which is a 6-core GPU and best suited for gamers. Gaming performance is excellent, it runs games very smoothly and lag-free even at maximum graphics settings. Some games we tested are Battlegrounds Mobile India, Call Of Duty, Asphalt 9 Legends, and others.
The smartphone is aided by its stainless steel vapor cooling system, which helps to cool the phone while you are playing on it or when the processor is under load. The Realme GT Neo 3 has a triple camera setup on the back, and now it has OIS support and a new camera compared to its predecessor. Its 150W UltraDart fast charging is super fast and is currently the fastest charging available in India. This phone can be charged to 50% in just 12 minutes through its 80W charger, while the 150W charger only takes 5 minutes to charge 50% and probably 12–13 minutes to fully charge the phone. The charging speed is even faster than its flagship sibling, the Realme GT2 Pro, which offers 65W SuperDart charging.
