Realme 9i Full Details and Review in Bangladesh

Realme brand launched the “Realme 9i” Smartphone with 5000 mAh Mega Battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Processor, 33 W Dart Charging System, 90 Hz Ultra-smooth Screen, Dual Sim, 4+128 GB, Android 11, Prism Black

Realme remains the 5th best-selling smartphone brand in Bangladesh, with annual growth still in double digits. Initially present in this market alone, the Chinese manufacturer has recently diversified its offer with a Realme Watch and, more surprisingly, with a Realme TechLife robot vacuum cleaner… Back to basics with the Realme 9i, a light version of the 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ that has triple photo lenses, including one with a resolution of 50 MPX. 4 to 6 GB of RAM and 64 to 128 GB of memory, a real dual SIM with expandable memory and virtual RAM, a 5000 mAh battery; and a 90 Hz screen! From 17,500 TK, it seems to be off to a good start.

A facelift after just a few months: the Realme 9i improves a few points and becomes more premium. It competes with the new Redmi Note 11, which also offers a Snapdragon 680, a 50MP camera, a 5000mAh battery with 33 watts of fast charging, and a 90 Hertz display. Xiaomi manages to install an AMOLED in the 17,500 TK price range.

The Realme 9i, on the other hand, relies on a conventional LCD panel and is not even a consistently better smartphone compared to the Realme 8i. In the practical test, we find out whether the Realme 9i deserves its chance in the middle class!

Realme 9i: Design and Processing

With a 6.6-inch display, the Realme 9i is a typical representative of the current mid-range in terms of size. The dimensions are 164.4 x 75.7 x 8.4 millimeters, and the 9i weighs 190 grams. The frame and back are made of plastic, but at least the design and workmanship give a high-quality impression. Operation with one hand is still possible in most cases, but the Realme 9i cannot be classified as particularly compact. The workmanship is excellent, the case is quite torsion-resistant, and the buttons and connections are neatly framed. However, the device is not a “hand flatterer.”

The Realme 9i is available in “Prism” black or blue. The color and the effect are made up of eight layers and conjure up numerous vertical lines on the back. These change their optical position depending on the viewing angle and create fine reflections within the stripes. Our black-grey version hits the ideal between “discreet but interesting enough” perfectly!

There is a microphone at the top and bottom of the frame. The power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor is on the right, and on the left are two buttons for volume control with the SIM slot above it. The Realme 9i has a great combination at the bottom: the USB-C port and a 3.5mm jack, the latter even being Hi-Res certified.

The Scope of Delivery of The Realme 9i

The Realme 9i comes with a protective film pre-applied. The scope of delivery includes the usual slips of paper, a SIM pin, a plastic protective cover, and the SuperDart quick charger with 33 watts, including a USB-A to USB-C cable.

Good Quality Screen of Realme 9i

The Realme 9i uses an LCD IPS panel that measures 6.6 inches diagonally in a 20:9 format. With a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels, the mid-range smartphone offers a pixel density of 400 pixels per inch and thus a perfectly sharp image.

The maximum brightness is 480 lux in automatic mode and is sufficient in most situations, even outdoors. The image becomes less recognizable directly in the sun, but the Realme UI then automatically increases the contrast accordingly to counteract this. The touchscreen has a sampling rate of 180 Hertz and accepts commands quickly and precisely.

There is a clear downgrade for the Realme 9i: from 120 Hertz it goes down to a refresh rate of 90 Hertz. This also fits better with the new, slower processor… In practice, you will notice the difference to a 90 Hertz AMOLED, which is simply superior, but even with the Realme 9i, you still have decently smooth animations and smooth scrolling. The variable refresh rate is present again. Leonardo already put the functionality to the test when testing the Realme 8i. This also works relatively well with the Realme 9i but is largely linked to the respective app. For example, Chrome Browser-90 Hertz, YouTube-60 Hertz. Scaling up and down is variable on the home screen or in the settings.

In the settings, the screen color mode can be switched between “vivid” and “mild.” In addition to this, the color temperature can be freely adjusted between warm and cold. Dark mode can also be activated for the LCD panel on the Realme 9i, even if the advantages of an AMOLED do not come into play. There is also a tunable eye comfort mode / blue light filter. The font size can be adjusted in 5 levels, 3 levels are available for the display size. An always-on display cannot be activated.

Performance and Systems

The real Snapdragon 680 seems to be compatible with the bulk-only 20% faster, 60% more efficient-but it has been added to the Snapdragon 662. Qualcomm’s original chip, for example, the Redmi Note 11, and last but not least, the 6nm method of production. The octa-core list comes from 4 x 2.4GHz- and the StrompsParkluster has 4 x 1.8GHz, Adreno 610 with GPU. The Snapdragon 680 is not affected by thermal throttling.

The speakers will also come from the Realme 9i listed on the Bangladeshi site with 4 or 6GB LPDDR4X orbiter speakers, which will be available in 4/64GB or 4/128GB variants. The UFS 2.1 system specifies 1000 MB/s free and 700 MB/s free. In addition to the 4/64GB specification, you can only get RAM with 1.2 and 3GB systems. A maximum of 5GB will be available for free in the 6/128 GB variant.

Good 25% slow down on Realme 8i and Realme 9i paper. Building your performance won’t stop at practical use, but without its untitled middle-class flagship, many issues are under-listed. In games, you will be able to get rid of stuttering, leading to quick multitasking breaks with background processes. You have to be, is it performed in one year or another? Get rid of Realme UI 2.0 now that it is absolutely flashy and wrong with all the adventure. Don’t miss out on the performance of ordinary smartphone requests.

System-Realme User Interface (UI) v2.0

And since it’s the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro +, we have the Real 9i with Realme UI 2.0 and Android 11. With the update of Realme UI 3.0, you want to update or update in the first quarter of 2022. This test with the RMX3491_11_A.10 version and protection patches from January 2022 will be based on RealMe 9i.

Since the installation of the Google Play Store with Google Apps and Tools/Works for Real, there are no more apps that can be easily removed (Facebook, TikTok, Booking.com, and PUPG). Safety Net Check is best for Realme 9i issues, as NFC also supports mobile banking/banking and full-HD streaming is no problem with Widevine L1 certification. Amazon Prime Video Clips from House House without beta. Realme Ui 2.0 flashes on the Realme 9i and enhances the user experience. My personal favorite system includes getting Oxygen OS from OnePlus. The style is very interesting, not even a stock Android, but it can be found more personally. You will also find many additional features and tools at your disposal, which can be added to your website.

Realme 9i camera

The Realme 8i was not tested too long ago, and so the successor adopted the camera layout. In practice, we will mainly look at our sensors: the main camera with 50MP performance and the front camera for selfies with 16MP. They have a 2MP macro and a 2MP bokeh sensor. This microsensor is much more present with the camera, which will make your work more interesting. This design will help you. Camera sensor details:

Optional Camera: Samsung JN1 – 50MP, Pixel Binning: 12.5MP, f / 1.8

Video: 1080p / 30fps, ICE

 Macro: 2MP, f / 2.4, 4cm focus bokeh / B / W-sensor: 2MP, f / 2.4

Front camera: 16MP, f/2. 1 video: 1080p / 30fps

The main camera sensor-operated is similar to the Samsung JN1, where 4-in-1 pixel binning produces 12.5MP group photos. Because the sensor comes from the Redmi 10, Poco M4 Pro, but also from the “Realme 8i and the new Redmi Note 11.” Since the “50MP-application” doesn’t let you touch it, it’s much more “hard”. That’s not JN1.

Daylight

With the Samsung JN1, Realm manages to capture the most demanding images in daylight. It’s better than winter, I’m the best with the sun and I take objective pictures. The pictures are great.

The problem is with the edges, blurring and flickering are often found. Landscape shots or distant objects quickly fall under obscured structures. In color combinations, Realme sometimes conveys things a little better. It is also a theme with a theme, which is related to the context.

50MP mode

Through interpolation, the Realme 9i is also capable of taking photos with a resolution of 12032 x 9024 pixels. The mode is called “Extra HD”. Even if the detail concentration is slightly visible when viewing on a PC, you can sometimes take better pictures in this mode, especially when there is plenty of light. The colors are then less saturated, the shadows and dark areas are not artificially brightened, and the contrast is more respectable overall.

The problem with 50MP is that the images are processed for a good 4 seconds – a snapshot takes too long. On the other hand, you should not switch to 50MP resolution even if the sky is cloudy, then you will serve better in normal mode. Digital zoom: It is also possible to switch between 2x and 5x magnification in the app. Although digital zoom benefits from pixel binning, it cannot be compared to telephoto sensors.

Close-up and Macrosensors of The Realme 9i

You know, recordings with a 2MP macro sensor are rarely useful because of the resolution. The main camera sensor requires a little more distance and sometimes only finds the desired focus on a second attempt, but close-ups are decent. However, Realme could choose color reproduction to be a little more natural.

Night shot

In low light or at night, the Realme 9i automatically goes into night mode or you can activate an additional mode, thus increasing the exposure time/number of shots that are stitched together.

Even though the Realme 9i can capture significantly more light with smaller camera sensors, the quality of night shots is still within the price range. With high ISO standards, the image is usually quite noisy and with pale colors, night shots do not come out particularly well. Night mode brings the most benefits with artificial light sources, as they no longer glare at recordings.

Portrait

Portrait shots are made using human software recognition and (possibly also) a 2MP B / W sensor. The background blur level can be adjusted before capturing the bokeh. In adverse locations, the Realme 9i makes minor mistakes when separating the nozzle from the background (e.g., the arm is crooked and the cap is cut and blurred), but otherwise the portrait shot is easy to pick up from the wrist. The detailed density of the motif, on the other hand, is quite high.

Front camera

The 16MP front camera delivers better selfies and offers a lot more scope, especially with the fixed focus distance. Depending on the radiation of the sun and light, skin tones are sometimes recorded as very reddish and the detail concentration cannot compete with the high price range.

A night mode is also available for the front camera, which exposes a little longer. However, the output of extra light is rarely visible in most situations.

Video

For videos, the Realme 9i with main and front camera is limited to 1080p at 30fps, which seems somewhat outdated. Focus, on the other hand, works very fast. The main camera uses EIS to allow you to capture some beautiful stable and moving moments.

Conclusion-Realme 9i’s Camera:

The Samsung JN1 Realme 9i isn’t a surprise, but it does get decent daylight shots with the Realme camera software. Depending on the subject, the colors are somewhat over-saturated and distant structures are blurred. For the price range, the picture is OK. The front camera does a good job and there are enough modes available in the Realme Camera app. At the price, however, we’ve obviously found a few more indoor camera tips in practical testing.

Connection and communication

The Realme 9i takes two nano-SIM cards simultaneously in a triple slot for dual SIM operation and also offers a MicroSD slot to expand the storage space up to 1 TB. The Snapdragon 680 does not support 5G. A Realme 9 5G may follow as a successor to Realme 8 5G, but this year both Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro + support 5G. The Realme 9i supports the following LTE frequencies:

FDD-LTE: Band 1/3/5/7/8/20/28

TDD-LTE: Band 38/40/41

Also supported for VoLTE and VoWiFi telephones. The rear speakers are pleasantly loud when needed, and the two microphones pick up the speech very clearly. In general, the Realme 9i’s powerful reception can also be appreciated, regardless of whether it is mobile communication, Bluetooth, or, in particular, 5 GHz WiFi.

Local WiFi networks are supported up to the highest AC standard (WiFi 5), but the connection remains strong even over long distances. Bluetooth 5.0 is available to connect to other (mobile) devices. The Realme 9i supports aptX (HD) for high-quality audio transmission. NFC is also on board and can be used for mobile payments like Google Pay. The Realme 9i supports GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo for navigation. An e-compass helps to find directions. The position is determined with an accuracy of 10 meters inside and 3 meters outside in less than 10 seconds.

Speaker Test of Realme 9i

Realme 9i plays media with stereo sound. Ear speakers are used for this, and in reality, it sounds much better than the main speaker. The sound isn’t particularly good, but 30% of the volume is enough for a YouTube video. A fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button to unlock it with your thumb. In practice, you need to rest your finger briefly (perhaps to avoid incorrect input), but then you’ll end up on the home screen in less than a second from standby. Alternatively, the front camera can be set up for Face Unlock, which works even with or without a mask/respirator. For Face Unlock, however, the Realme 9i must first wake up from standby, such as with the power button or double-tap on the display.

Realme 9i Battery Life

Like its predecessor, the Realme 9i has a 5000mAh battery installed. With the Snapdragon 680, a modern processor is now installed, which should be much more efficient on paper. Also, the 90 Hz display can no longer use batteries like its 120 Hz predecessor.

If we compare the quality of the Realme 8i with the 60 Hz refresh rate of 16 hours, the new Snapdragon 680 in the 6nm process certainly brings a decent increase. Realme 9i achieves first-class 17 hours 40 minutes here. If you set the settings to 90 Hz permanently, the Realme 9i battery achieves 14 hours and 39 minutes on the benchmark. If you leave the Realme 9i to control the refresh rate automatically, there will be very little difference between the PC Mark battery benchmark 3.0 and the 17:32-hour 60 Hertz. With a display at 90 Hertz, I’ve come up with a powerful one. Two days (and one night) of 7 to 8-hour display-on-time with 30% remaining battery capacity. Overall, Realme 9i can be used actively for a good 10 hours in two days. With an automatic refresh rate, I had about 40% of the remaining battery after two days. In streaming testing via YouTube (Full HD, 200 lux, speakers about 30%), the Realme 9i requires a 7% battery per hour.

The technology is available and is now being used on the Realme 9i as well: the included fast charger ranges from 18 watts to 33 watts. The Realme 9i is fully charged from 0 to 100% in 70 minutes. Thanks to SuperDart fast charging technology, you can recharge 20% in about 13 minutes. The Realme 9i does not start in power delivery and stays at 10 watts.

Realme 9i Price in Bangladesh

Price and launch of Realme 9i: 9 Mid-range series budget models start at TK 17,490 with 4 / 64GB and TK 19,490 with 6 / 128GB.
