Chinese global technology business Vivo Communication Technology Co., Ltd., also known as Vivo, is based in Dongguan, Guangdong. Launched in 2009, Vivo develops software, online services, online services and smartphone accessories. vivo V25 5G and V25e 4G are the latest additions to the vivo 25 series lineup. These smart-looking smartphones have color-changing designs that help them stand out from the crowd. Both phones were released in Bangladesh on September 25. They bring their differences while sharing many similar characteristics.
Both vivo V25 and vivo V25e are powerful mobile devices. Both devices, much like the vivo V25 Pro, have arguably high-end design elements.
In terms of design, both the phones are similar. You can create front and back panels on these devices. The dimensions (159.2 x 74.2 x 7.8 mm) are the same for both the devices. However, the V25e is slightly lighter (183g) than its counterpart V25 (186g).
The corners are cut so elegantly that they seem to cut you. And because it’s shaped like a brick, you can feel the millimeters that make up its thickness.
A fingerprint scanner is built directly into the screen for both phones and it performs quite well. Although this type offers a more premium feel than the side-loaded variety, there is no real advantage to choosing this type over traditional side styles. However, this one is rather effective.
There is no headphone jack, although the sides are flat and reveal a large space in which to install easily. You cannot add a microSD card. Both of these methods will likely discourage potential buyers who might otherwise be interested in the phone.
The only difference in design is that the V25 offers an additional color variant. You can get both phones in Elegant Black and Sunrise Gold colors; The V25 also comes in a surfing blue color.
There is nothing unusual between the V25 and V25e on the display side.
Vivo V25 and vivo 25e have a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The resolution is 2404 by 1080 pixels, which may seem strange but is very common, and there is a teardrop notch at the very top.Panels with 120Hz are available at roughly this price. However, unless you’re moving from a phone that already has 120Hz, don’t believe that 90Hz is a significant step-down. In addition, it is probably essential for the phone to have a reasonably long battery life. More will be said about this later.
Contrast is excellent, and colors are vibrant, both traits that are almost guaranteed with an AMOLED display. There are regular color modes, professional color modes, and bright color modes. The first two are strong, but you can go with “Professional”. It has a wonderful appearance, giving the impression to your eye of being more saturated than the sRGB color space, but on a mobile device, the sRGB color space appears to be slightly less.
Vivo claims that the display can reach up to 1300 nits. However, you won’t see anything close to that number in practice. If you force the vivo V25 to its high brightness mode, which automatically activates when you’re outdoors in bright sunlight, the screen reaches a brightness level of 780 nits. This makes the screen bright enough for comfortable outdoor use.
Rear camera
Vivo V25 gets three rear cameras on the back. It has a 64MP wide main sensor that features f/1.8 aperture and 0.7 nichrome lens. It comes with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, 16mm wide and 120-degree field-of-view. Because of the 8MP resolution, those images don’t stand up well under close inspection and often struggle to capture more complex natural textures. The rear camera series also includes a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
The V25e has 3 sensors on the back. The 64MP main sensor and 2MP macro sensor are the same as the V25, the only difference being the ultra-wide sensor. The V25e’s ultra-wide camera is 2MP. Vivo’s effective HDR optimization can instantly deliver memorable shots, especially during the day. The V25e’s 2MP ultrawide lens doesn’t fall short of the V25’s 8MP for great photos.Compared to the more expensive V25 Pro, the video functions aren’t too bad. At least somewhat successful with software stabilization, with the vivo V25 version, 4K video can still be captured at 30 frames per second. Both the vivo V25 and V25e can capture 1080p footage at 30fps. When you switch to 1080p capture, Ultra Stabilized mode is available. It drives the software stabilization process with much more cropped view.
Front camera
On the front, the V25 has a 50MP (f/2.0 aperture) selfie camera that performs well in all lighting conditions. Images are crisp and clear, although not very detailed, in excellent light and low light. As with the rear camera, you can shoot 4K images at 30fps or 1080p images at 30fps.
The V25e supports a 32MP (f/2.0 aperture) selfie camera that delivers good photos but not as good as the V25. The selfie sensor can shoot 1080p footage at 30fps.
Being equipped with powerful 6nm SoC powered by MediaTek MT6877 Dimension 900 processor, vivo V25 offers 5G and decent CPU performance. The graphic unit is blessed with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.
The vivo V25e has a MediaTek Helio MT8781 G99 6nm CPU, which gives it the power it needs to handle most day-to-day activities. These activities include gaming, surfing social media and doing various other tasks. GPU is Mali-G57 MC2.
Both phones run Funtouch 12 operating system on top of Android 12.
The Vivo V25 comes in three different storage variants: 128GB/ 8GB RAM, 256GB/ 8GB RAM, and 256GB/ 12GB RAM. On the other hand, the V25e only has 128GB 8GB RAM and 256GB 8GB RAM variants.
Both the phones are ideal for playing high-end games.
However, the V25e lacks 5G technology and falls short in offering a premium experience compared to the V25.
Both the vivo V25 and V25e have a 4500mAh battery capacity. These phones are expected to have around 40% charge left at the end of the day with light use.
Both vivo V25 and vivo V25e have 44W fast charging capability.
The 8/12 GB version of the V25e 4G phone is priced around Rs 31,999. On the other hand, the 8/256GB variant of the vivo 25 5G phone is priced around Rs 47,999.
VAT is applicable for both phones. Price tag subject to change. Both the V25 and V25e are now officially available in Bangladesh.
If you’re looking for a phone with a glass front and back panel but don’t want to pay a lot, consider the vivo V25 and vivo 25e.The display and design of both the phones are almost the same. The gaming power of the Vivo V25e is slightly inferior to that of the Vivo V25, and its camera does not perform as well as the Vivo V25 in low light.Overall, both the vivo V25 5G and vivo 25e 4G phones are excellent options under the mid-range price level. If you want heavy-duty gaming, go for the V25.
