It was established in 2009 as a sub-brand of BBK Electronics in Dongguan, Guangdong. The full focus of the Vivo brand is to provide a high-quality audio experience for users using the Hi-Fi chip on your smartphone. The company has developed software that includes the Vivo App Store, iManager, and proprietary Android-based operating systems. It’s called FuntouchOS. In 2012, Vivo described the world’s smallest smartphone X1. The X1 Vivo Ka was the first phone to use a hi-fi developed by US semiconductor company Cirrus Logic. And build from hi-fi chips was the first Vivo phone.
